Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: WOW!!! My wife and I spent 3 nights at this amazing boutique hotel and regret that we did we couldn t stay much more. The Houben is the one of the best experience we had in Thailand when it come to hotel and a place to stay. It has only 15 rooms two of them are suits built on an unbelievable cliff. We stayed in one of them. The view was breathtaking, the design state of the art, the food was great and some time even more, considering that the hotel is open less then a year and is still in his trial-run period. The hotel was constructed by a Belgian guy and his Thai spouse. The design is top modern till the last small details, the infinity pool is astonishing, the bar is like if it was taken from a movie. If you are a bit concern about not having a beach next to the hotel don t worry, 5 min walk you ll find a great one. After staying in a few boutique hotels in Thailand we can say that The Houben can be named in the top list and in any Boutique Hotel magazine. The most pleasant surprise was the service of the hotel staff led by the owner daughter Shana. She made our stay so wonderful that it was really hard for us to leave. In the end of the day The Houben made it worth for us to travel all the way to Koh Lanta. The price per night make this hotel the great value one all around, but we think that this prices will not hold for too long as this hotel id down prices and as soon as it will start to run normally and the amazing new spa will be open the price are going to be significantly higher. Any way we are going to come back to this precious place.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: The outward appearance of this resort is truely lovely, but don t be swayed by that. The staff are very inhospitable! The service is uncaring they are only interested in the tourist dollar! The prices are inflated and you pay for absolutely everything. The price to get from there to Phuket is so expensive on their private speed boat and they only have one service daily so if you have two nights there and arrive in the afternoon you have to be on the ferry at 10.30 the morning you leave boat and back to Phuket on their 10.30am ferry leaving you with one full day but paying for 2 full nights!!!! Due to the disappointment of only having on day there and we went there for my birthday my husband asked for an upgrade, they didn t want to know us and told us they were booked out. That was totally untrue as there were several empty bungalows along the beach front for both nights we were there he even told them that it was my birthday, they didn t care less. They told us that for extra money we could get a private boat back to Phuket at a later time, for the unbelievalble cost of $600 AUS for 2 adults and 2 children??? We ended up getting the ferry back for a quarter of the price they charged.We asked for a late check out after all this and they harrassed us with 2 phone calls to our room to see when we would vacate the room. Nice resort but would never go back the staff are cold and unfriendly.

It was absolutely fine and I recommend it for anyone who has emphasis on what they do in the day and just need a sound, comfortable room at night. The room was perfectly clean, bed comfortable and had a well-stocked mini bar, and the pool was great. Restaurant food was so-so but being located next to everything else that s pretty much irrelevant. I stayed in the superior AC bungalow. It wasn t fancy but good value for money.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: Da wir in der sogenannten Low Season unsere Zeit im Krabi Resort verbracht haben, muß man sagen das wir fast allein waren. Das Rort liegt sehr idylisch direkt am Strand. Wir hatten Superius Rooms im Haupthaus. Das preis Leistungs verhältniss stimmte absolut.Auch das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend und abwechslungsreich.Alles im allen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen und ich würde dieses Resort gerne weiterempfehlen.Ich sage nur besten Dank für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt.

During reserve process, the price on website excluding breakfast, but the e-voucher provided by ThaïlandeHôtels-24.com including breakbreast. After strongly arguing with ThaïlandeHôtels-24.com, lastly I get the breakfast with original price.
Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: Very value for money. Enough room space, very tidy and clean. Friendly and patient service. I booked 4 islands trip and ferry boate in there and got good price. Alother their location is not close to Aonang beach, but only take 10-15 min.s by feet. It is same as other reviews and my imagination. And I booked a further day there.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: Ao Nang Villa was just okay. In their defence, we had just come from a 4-5 star hotel in Singapore, but in comparison Ao Nang Villa was sadly lacking. There were no facilities to iron our crumpled clothes other than the hotel laundry, which took four hours for its quickest service. The rooms were very hot unless you left the key in the slot, but they only gave one key per couple, so this was impossible.We dined at their main restaurant on the first night as we were tired and my husband wanted the lobster advertised on a big billboard at the door. However, they had no lobster as the hotel was too quiet and we hadn t preordered it!! Why then was the billboard not taken down?The staff were not as friendly as we are used to in Thai hotels, and it took forever to get anything from housekeeping, ie my daughter waited ten hours to get a mattress topper for her incredibly hard bed, and this was after constant repeated calls, we called for extra towels, and got extra doonas etc. etc.If you dialled any number such as housekeeping, spa, etc. there was never any answer, but the front desk always answered and put us through.Overall in my view it barely rates a 3 star, 2.5 at best.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: This was a good-value hotel, well located and very comfortable and fresh. Great pool. The staff were very pleasant but while they were quick to bring extra things to my room when requested, they weren t overly helpful - eg. when I made inquiries about one tour (not one they were affiliated with) they suggested that I call them myself and could make no other suggestions. The wifi was also down the entire time I was there and staff had no idea when it would be fixed and just kept saying tomorrow . Breakfast is fine - basic buffet selections.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: Good rooms, clean, quiet at night, close to beaches (3 mins & 10 mins walk), staff got us a nanny at very short notice. Breakfast was solid and kids loved their pizza as well as their 50cm deep pool. Adult pool was great. Good value for money. Would stay again.

För 1500 bath hade jag fÃ¥tt bo pÃ¥ Sugar Palm Grand Hillside i Kata Beach, och skillnaden var enorm. Här var poolen mycket liten i förhÃ¥llande till vad bilden pÃ¥ webben gav sken av. Rummet var litet. GÃ¥ngarna var trÃ¥nga. Fin bar i anslutning till poolen, men förövrigt fanns det inte nÃ¥got att göra i hotellomrÃ¥det. Läget var dock bra. Gick man till vänster pÃ¥ stora gatan utanför, gick man mot stranden med all shopping pÃ¥ vägen. Frukosten bestod av en relativt liten frukostbuffé. Baconen och korven sÃ¥g aldrig fräsch ut. Omelett kunde beställas.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: Okay, reception staffs were not friendly (one was pregnant, the other was multi-tasking with reception and kitchen duties). Room was okay, average. Location is not as near as we thought to the beach, but close proximity to local food karts nearby Macdonalds, Starbucks and others. If you re looking for great amenities, this place is not too bad, though you can find of similar price hotels nearby the beach. Breakfast was good. Overall, could do better with service standards to asian foreigners like us!

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: The Receptionist, Amm and Lynn were very helpful and friendly during our stay at Aonang Paradise Resort. It was raining for the 2 days, we drove over to the resort and they would came out with umbrellas waiting for us, just in case we didnt bring ours.

Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: We stayed here with 3 kids (3,6 & 11y)and found the place grate! We have rarely seen such a stunning beautiful scenery and grate beaches. We had very nice connecting rooms although we needed to walk 5 minutes to the restaurant / pool / beach at Railay West. The hotel is on west, but our room was 100m from the east beach. The only shortcoming is the breakfast, which had too few selections. All staff was very nice & helpful. When you arrive at Railay East - which is just 10 min by boat and safer as waves are lower just go to the security guy and he will call a buggy from Railay to get you and your luggage easily to the reception at Railay west.
