Guest examen écrit 2011-07-18 par: THANA NA NAGARA Comment est géré le processus de réservation: Autres commentaires sur cet hôtel: We were kept waiting outside the airport for one hour and had to make 3 phone calls to the hotel for the complimentary airport transfer on arrival.The so-called VIP suite (We booked 2 VIP suites) for which we paid THB 2800 each was old, dark,dingy,poorly maintained/serviced/cleaned.Could not pull back the old curtain over the window the wooden frame of which was rotten. No guest information, no tea/coffee making and other facilities that one has come to expect at this price level. There was also a security issue. We talked to the Manager and asked for partial or full refund on deciding to leave after two hours there. This was the only nightmare experience we encountered during the four weeks of staying at various excellent hotels/resorts in Bangkok, Samui, Nakhonsrithammarat,Cha-am, Huahin, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, the Golden Triangle.

But unfortunitly it was. The room was really not nice at all, especially for a deluxe room! If you are expecting a good hot shower after traveling, no luck,there is no hot water in the bathroom, and the plumbing is totally damn, takes at least one hour to empty the tub. The swimming pool is squeezed in between the two wings of the hotel and the water is not clean. Around 11.30 to 12.30 you might have the opportunity to see the sun at the swimming pool between the two wings of the hotel. Besides that the staff of the hotel is very helpfull and nice. This place was build in 1972 and it would really need to be refurbished (or taken down) [ThaïlandeHôtels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]

Obviously once quite grand but now sadly in steep decline. With a few exceptions the staff were scruffy, disinterested in guests and more interested in personal conversations.Did not expect much at this price and that was exactly what we got.Would not recommend to other travellers [ThaïlandeHôtels-24.com integr.ERR:escaping]
